Throughout the
year Rising Sun Pottery offers classes, workshops
and other special events. Gary and members of the Rising Sun Pottery
Guild participate in a number of charitable events, such as the annual
spring "Mugathon", that benefits the local Humane Society, and
the fall "Empty Bowl Soup Project", that benefits Hospice of
Lincoln County. Rising Sun Pottery also participates in the Lincolnton
Apple Festival held each September, plus other regional craft shows. .
